What is going on with all the Costume Institute Gala drama this year? First, legendary designer and Michelle Obama favorite Azzedine Alaïa was neither invited nor featured in the exhibition (odd, since the theme was models and he’s a major favorite of the Supers). This led to Naomi Campbell and Stephanie Seymour not attending the event out of respect to the designer. Then at the Mulleavy-hosted after party, a drunk Keifer Sutherland (really, is there any other kind?) head-butted poor sweet and generally beloved Proenza Schouler co-designer Jack McCollough. To defend Brooke Shield’s honor or something? Doesn’t sound like anyone’s really sure yet. But in honor of the ridiculousness, here’s my favorite footage of drunk Kiefer Sutherland ever.
