Best Dressed of 2000-2009: Diane Kruger

Though I didn't really start to notice Diane Kruger's consistently glamorous and effortlessly chic style until 2006 when I saw a photo of her at The Golden Globes in a claret velvet Lanvin dress, she has blown me away so many times in the past few years that she was my clear choice for my Best Dressed of the past ten years. She walks red carpets in couture looking just as comfortable as when she's photographed running errands in jeans and sunglasses. Her sartorial choices combined with the grace and ease with which she carries herself have made her one of my personal style icons.
