why i love gaga

1) Crazy ass hair bows.

2) The name Lady Gaga comes from the Queen song "Radio Ga-Ga."



3) The song "Beautiful, Dirty, Rich," which made it on to my summer playlist. Sample lyric: "Our hair is perfect, while we're all getting shit wrecked. It's automatic, honey. But we got no money."

4) Orbital headwear.



5) Her new single "Paparazzi," which is one of my favorite music videos in years. Metal leotards and matching crutches? Bedazzled neck braces and shoe-licking? Yes, please.

6) Her clothes and her styling. I'm not saying we should all jump on the no pants bandwagon. (And really, Beyonce, Rihanna, and Ciara have all been there. It's old news now.) But I have so much appreciation for her look. Achieving those kinds of sartorial theatrics on an almost daily basis is incredibly impressive. Gaga makes me want to spend three hours getting ready before ever stepping outside the house.
