I'm a sucker for Jane Austen and I'm a sucker for zombies. So Quirk's announcement that they'll be releasing a prequel to Pride and Prejudice and Zombies has me all atwitter.Dawn of the Dreadfuls will be an original work of fiction based on Austen characters (as opposed to Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters, which were both re-imaginings of Austen novels). The story will follow young Elizabeth Bennet and her sisters as they grow up and are trained by their father to become zombie slayers. Hopefully, this work will live up to its excellent predecessor.
