A few of the dresses from 2008 that I found particularly scrumptious:

The frothy Atelier Versace gown that Anne Hathaway wore at the Venice Film Festival topped dozens of the year's best dressed lists. Every time I look at it I develop a serious craving for a masterfully frosted cupcake from
Wuollet.

Kate Beckinsale swathed herself in this yummy pale pink Prada confection for the 4th Annual Pink Party to benefit the Cedars-Sinai Women's Cancer Institute.

The sleeves of Lucy Liu's Valentino wrap remind me of giant macaroons from Ladurée. Maybe she picked some up while she was in town for Paris Fashion Week.

Cate Blanchett walked the Cannes red carpet in an Armani Privé gown that featured delicious layers of wavy fabric. And if you'll excuse me, I need to go eat a
mille-feuille immediately.

All of the dresses are gorgeous but I just love Cate Blanchett. She can do no wrong!
