I know it sounds melodramatic, but I'm such a fan of Yves Saint Laurent, I can barely bring myself to write an obituary about the designer, much less a tribute. But whether you're a longtime lover of YSL or a fashion novice, this is a man worth remembering. I'll miss his modern sensibility, his influential vision, and his down-to-earth accessibility. But most of all, I'll miss the grace and strength that he infused in his designs. Instead of a full-out post, here is a selection of touching pieces about the designer's life and career.
