Unless you're Dita Von Teese, you probably scale back your beauty routine in the summer months. When the temperature starts to rise, it feels great to take liquid and cream foundations out of your daily rotation. Tinted moisturizers are a great alternative to heavy foundations. A quality tinted moisturizer will deliver three functions in one product: coverage, moisture and sun protection. Unfortunately, there are a lot of poor performers on the market, and it's easy to get stuck with a lemon.
DuWop Revolotion Face is one of my favorite beauty products, and a regular in my warm weather rotation. It shields UVA and UVB rays with SPF 15, cutting a step out of your morning routine. It moisturizes without clogging pores and the coverage lasts all day. Although it's only available in eight shades, the sheer formula allows Revolotion to work for a wide variety of skin tones. If you're on the fair side, try one of my favorite tips from the beauty addict. Go one shade darker to give your face a wash of bronze without a trace of orange.
A primer isn't necessary, but I love applying this over Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer. Revolotion glides over the primer, blending easily without settling into pores. The combination creates a matte-satin finish that's dewy without looking greasy. The result is a healthy, well-rested glow that never looks made-up.
Although Revolotion Face is not always easy to find in beauty departments, you can always pick up a tube from DuWop or Sephora.
