winding up for art-a-whirl

Last Sunday, l'étoile shot a promotional photograph for I Dreamed I Dream, a group exhibition opening this Saturday at Fox Tax. Emma Berg, the show's curator and director of MPLSART, came on board to art direct the shoot.

Model Mackenzie Labine wore an impeccably detailed Max Lohrbach dress with adorable kitten pockets. The inspiration for the shot came from Rudy Fig's featured painting, Cream Dream. Fig is one of the four artists who's work will be showing in Emma's exhibition.

Many thanks to our lovely hosts who gave us the run of their loft and served us zesty champagne cocktails that looked like Ecto-Cooler.

If you're in the Minneapolis area, be sure to stop by Fox Tax on Saturday night. I Dreamed I Dream is just one of the many events taking place this weekend at Art-A-Whirl, the largest art crawl in the upper Midwest.
