Three models of color opened Givenchy's Fall 2008 Couture show. Lakshmi Menon was the first down the runway, followed by Jourdan Dunn and Sessilee Lopez. With black models on the runway and in editorials, perhaps we'll start seeing more non-white models in major ad campaigns. A standing ovation to Givenchy for making women of color the stars of their couture show.
